She was predeceased by: her parents, Eusebia Martinez and Felix Martinez; her husband Juan P. Garcia; and her siblings, Tony Martinez, Eugenia Salazar and Richarda Hilario.

She is survived by: her children, Roseann Gang, Elva Rodriguez, Robert Garcia (Norma), Sylvia Velasquez (Leon), Nancy Castenada and Juan Manuel Garcia; and her sisters, Louisa Lopez and Ofelia Alcantar. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Myers & Smith Funeral Home & Chapel (301 E 24th St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
