With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Cynthia Hernandez of Big Spring, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Almeida and Amalia Almeida; her husband Gary Wayne Kinard; her sisters, Mary Hellen Urias and Julia Lerma; her nephew Charles Urias; and her niece Linda Larez.
She is survived by: her children, Mindy Lopez, Cessilee Hernandez, Bernadette Hernandez (Vanessa Deanda) and Devin Buck; her grandchildren, Ivan Castillo, Kaydence Cylysce Canales, K'Shaun Groage, Kimberlynn Groage, K'Tayvion Groage and Ka'Mya Groage; her great grandchild Kaylani Groage; and her siblings, Julia Correa, Adolfo Larez, Adelinda Longoria, Jessie Martinez and Andrew Hernandez.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Myers & Smith Funeral Home & Chapel (301 E 24th St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Trinity Memorial Park (6900 US-87, Big Spring, TX 79720).
