She was predeceased by: her father Cecil; her husband Jim Dyer; and her siblings, C. E. Hayes, Nona Francis Mathews and Mary Neal Henry.

She is survived by: her children, Janeette Dignan, Jimmie Whitt, Jennifer Dyer, Jeffrey Dyer (Tammy) and Monie Jacalyn Dyer. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
