He is survived by: his wife Shawna Stubbs; his daughter Morgan Stubbs; his mother-in-law Janet Perkins; and his siblings, Rosemary Morabito Riverside (Dave), Loretta Beckley Minneapolis, John Stubbs Phoenix (Maria), Frank Stubbs San (Elaine), Marie Hamilton Jurupa Valley, Bernadine Olson Dallas (Bob), Michael Stubbs Corona (Suzie) and Thomas Stubbs San (Norma).

“I wish to express my sympathies to Jim’s family.I am a cousin and a nephew of his parents, Jack and Gen. When Jim had graduated from 8th grade his Dad, Jack sent him on a trip to New Orleans where I had been stationed and was being transferred to St. Joseph’s Parish in Marietta, GA. He helped me pack up a U-Haul truck and helped me unload it in Marietta. I very much appreciated his help and have very good memories of him. I will remember him at Mass. May he rest in peace. Fr. John Beckley, S.M.”
