We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2019, at the age of 95, John Rivers Roden (Bedford, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ethel Rivers Roden and Johnny Luther Roden; his sisters, Syble Jo Smith and Sara Logan (Betty Roden); and his grandson Daniel Penry.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Lee Boswell; his children, James Michael "Mike" Roden (Kim) and Deborah Powley (Jerry); his granddaughter Darcie Kilgore; his great grandchildren, Brittaney Kilgore and Kasey Curtin (Rory); and his friend Barbara Uland. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
