It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Paul Longyear of Bedford, Texas, born in White Plains, New York, who passed away on June 2, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John K. Longyear and Ruth DeJeu Longyear; his wife Christine Longyear of Bedford; his daughter Serena Joy Smith; his grandchildren, Caydence and Caeson Smith of Colleyville, Texas.; and his siblings, Judy Rich (Tom) of Santa Clarita, CA, Jerry Longyear (Deborah) of Danbury, CT, Frank Eaton (Michelle) of Hawthorne, NY and Tim Eaton (Bob Barbero) of New York City, NY.. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
