He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hermine Amelia Schuster Darling and Barton Leroy Darling; his wife Iva Jean Jordan Darling; his siblings, Barton Darling, Carol Furrey and George Darling; and also, Deborah, Michael Cashen of Bedford, TX, Leslie, Melvin Tatman, Lori, George Shiflet, Lisa and Scot Olsen of Boiling Springs, NC.. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
