Elsie Faye Murphy Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Faye Murphy of Bedford, Texas, born in Rosebud, Texas, who passed away on April 9, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud T. Chappell and Willie Lou Chappell (Bell); her husband Thad C. Murphy; her daughter Lydia Diane Murphy; her siblings, Vernon, Leeroy, Marvin, Thomas, Billy Chappell, Dorothy Bishop, Aldonia Osment, Mary Lou Turner, Pearly Soriano, Sue McBee and Imogene Adams; and her close friend Olen S. Moses.

She is survived by: her son Robert David Murphy; her daughter-in-law Mary of Forestburg, Texas; her grandson David Ray Farison; her daughter-in-law Sarah; her great grandchildren, Ava, Sofia, Hailey and Caden of Hurst, Texas; her grandson Mike A. Turner; her daughter-in-law Shani; her great grandchild Ethan of Dumas, Texas; her grandchildren, Thad E. Murphy of Forestburg, Texas, Brian David Murphy of Euless, Texas, Jennifer Murphy of Arlington, Texas and Amanda Worley of Rhome, Texas; her sister Ruth Lambert; and her brother-in-law Billy Joe of Travis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
