She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Louise Montgomery and Wallace Douglas Black; her husband Charles Ellwood; her son Russell Ellwood; and her siblings, Carole Hutchins, Louise Ray, Jim Black and Sammy Black.
She is survived by: her son William Ellwood (Brittany) of Cypress, TX; her grandchildren, Vivienne and Edward; and her siblings, Judy Eddleman of Houston, TX and Dan (Karole Black) of Hobbes, NM. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in Jo's name.
