He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Currie and Patrick Currie (America); and his sister Susan Rita Currie. He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Wilson Currie; his daughters, Cathy Currie and Julie Overshiner (Ken); his grandchildren, Sarah Jones (Trevor), Andrew Overshiner and Jennifer Overshiner; and his brother Michael Currie (Lyn).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Joseph Catholic School in Baytown, TX.
