She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Hearon and Ruth Norton Hearon; her husband Marvin A. Currie, Jr. (Buddie); her son Thomas Claude Currie; her grandson Adam Thomas Currie; her brother Edward C. Hearon; her siblings-in-law, Mary Lou, Vic Pruitt and Carl Currie; and her in-laws, Marvin and Fairy Currie.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Currie Heinemeyer (Robert) and Marvin Currie, III (Jeani); her sisters-in-law, Amy Currie and Dorothy Hearon; her nieces and nephews, Lou Ellen Currie Wheeler (Larry), Carl Currie, Jr. (Nancy), Brent Currie, Sue Ellen Hearon Blackmon (Steve), Tish Hearon Humphrey (Russell), Becky Pruitt and Chris Pruitt (Terry); her grandson Chris Heinemeyer; and her great grandchildren, Kyle Currie, Ryan Bowers, Carl Currie, Jr., Brent Currie, Chris Pruitt, Larry Wheeler, Brian Bowers, Steve Blackmon, Russell Humphrey, Dan Maze and Ryan Keith.
