He is survived by: his wife Sandy Whitley Plante; his children, Ann Brown, Sammy Marziale (Patrick), Donna Gibson, Joseph Plante and Rusty Plante; his brothers, Darrell Plante, Wesley Plante and Clayton Plante (Lois); and his grandchildren, Alex, Chris Marziale, Nick, Aiden, Dylan Brown, Emma, Sophie and Max Denman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
