It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Monroe Pryor Jr. of Baytown, Texas, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David "Monroe", Sr. (Frances Elizabeth Craig Pryor) and Baytown; his wife Dorey Fulton Pryor; his children, Randall David Pryor and Delainia Davis; his siblings, Betty Pryor Bowman, Donald Pryor and Robert Pryor; and his former wife Betty J. Drake.
He is survived by: his children, Angel Ponder (Mike), Carrie Pryor-Newman (Rick) and David Monroe Pryor, III (Margy); and his son-in-law Art Davis. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
