Admonia Marie Stewart-Singleton began her life on December 5, 1930. She was born to Lawrence Stewart Sr. and Alphosine Singleton in Eastgate, Texas.
She was united in marriage to Edward Singleton Jr. on November 30, 1957. She then became a wife, homemaker and eventually the mother of 4 children. She enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting, and gardening. She was married 26 years before becoming a widow on March 15, 1983.
Admonia had a quiet spirit about her. She became a Christian a year or so after marriage and was faithful throughout her life. She was an active member of her church, charitable, and committed to the work of the church until her illness prevented her from doing so.
Admonia transitioned from this life on January 27, 2024. She was preceded by her parents; Lawrence Steward Sr. and Alphosine Singleton; husband, Edward Singleton Jr.; sisters, Hazel Stewart- Areeneaux, Elsa Mae Stewart-Johnson, Elizabeth Stewart-Collins, Beatrice Stewart-Butler; brothers, Lawrence Stewart Jr., Rogers Stewart, Leroy Stewart, John Stewart, and her son Eddy Singleton.
She leaves to cherish her memories; children Evangela Singleton-Mills, Angela Singleton-Buckner (Russell), Virginia Singleton-Francis (John); grandchildren, Tameka Mills, Jason Buckner (Shawnnita), Justin Singleton, Allyson Buckner, Jonathan Buckner, Jared Francis; great-grandchildren, Kaden Buckner, Kairo Buckner, sibings, Buila Stewart-Lartigue, Edward Steward Sr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
