She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph C. Anderson and Sara Boyd Anderson; her son James Scott Halbert; and her siblings, Clara Brinkley and James T. Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Halbert Shipp Cunningham (Brian) of Bay City; her grandchildren, Robyn Shipp Lynch of Cedar Park, TX and James Shipp (Gina) of Round Rock, TX; her great grandchildren, Roman Lynch, Alexa Lynch, Cooper Shipp, Emma Wheaton and Isa Wheaton; her siblings, Helen Kay Wigton of Pennsylvania and Samuel "Butch" Anderson (Frances) of North Carolina; her sister-in-law Marian Anderson of Texas; and her nephew Rod Anderson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
