She was predeceased by: her parents, Hearil Joseph McClure and Jerelene Thelma Wood (Dean); her husband Gale Edwin Powell; and her stepfather Glen B. Wood. She is survived by: her children, Stacy Blackburn (Justin) of Pawnee, Chad Powell of Pawnee, Brad Powell (Penny) of Cleveland and Shannon Sallee (Clayton) of Lincoln, Arkansas; her siblings, Karen Gulley (Richard) of Jenks, Pat Yarger of Vinita and Larry McClure (Darlene) of Edmond, Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Lindsey Blackburn of Pawnee, Brock, Ethan Powell of Cleveland, Gracelynn and Stockton Sallee of Lincoln. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations be made in honor of Kay to the First Baptist Church in Terlton or to the Clevland Ag Booster Club.
