He was predeceased by: his mother Darlene Strege Eide; his wife DeLores Castleman Strege; his stepparents, Mary Strege and J. J. Eide; and his grandparents, Fred, Elsie Strege, Ted and Clara Bunting.
He is survived by: his father Robert Strege; his daughter Melody Garrison (Neil); his grandchildren, Jennica, Abigail and Jonathan Garcia; and his brother Steven Strege (Vicki). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
