She was predeceased by: her friend Lee Carr; her husbands, Joseph B. Lawhon and Lee K. Carr; her son Sidney Louis Carr; and her siblings, L. W. Richers Jr., Frank Richers, Otto Richers, Elveria Cernosek, Genevieve Gaudet, Judy O'Roark and Nettie Brueggen Rogers.
She is survived by: her former husband Joe Lawhon; her sons, Joseph B. Lawhon, Joe Lawhon (Phyllis) of Lampasas, Kirk Carr (Julie) of Gonzales and Mike Carr (Eleene) of Georgetown; her siblings, Sybella Green of Bay City and Sherwood Richers (Judy) of Albuquerque; her daughter-in-law Gloria Berger (Mark) of Corpus Christi; and her grandchildren, Scott Lawhon, Matt Lawhon, Ryan Carr, Rebecca Park, Elizabeth Miller, Laura Carr-Bagheri, Hunter Carr, Philip Carr, Ashley Carr-Ordway, Sioux Smith and Joe Strack IV.
