He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Saldaña Sr. and Maria Lopez Saldaña; his sisters, Chrisanta Saldaña and Celia Saldaña; and his grandson Joe Louis Sanchez.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Saldaña; his children, John Saldaña III, Edward Saldaña, Roseanna Ramos and Marian Saldaña; and his siblings, Arthur Saldaña, Alfredo Saldaña, Edward Villafranca, Sarah Padilla, Odilia Sauceda, Ida Saldaña and Delia Cortez. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren.
