She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Wright and Eppie Oglesby Wright; and her husband George Patterson. She is survived by: her siblings, Alton Wright and Dee Parker; her children, Glen Patterson (Debbie), Dorothy Preisler (James), Linda Ash (James) and James Patterson (Cathy); and her grandchildren, Kristen Patterson, Stephanie Perez (Sergio), Jim Patterson, Amanda Candler (David), Michael Preisler (Katy), Zack Patterson, Stephen Williamson, Bradley Williamson, Austin Williamson and Carmel Williamson. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Bay City or the MRMC Auxiliary.
