He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gonzales and Anita Gonzales (Carmona); his brothers, Manuel "Boy" Gonzales, Willie Joe Gonzales, Johnny Gonzales and Gilbert Gonzales; and his grandchildren, Steven Anthony Rendon Jr., Baby Joseph Richard Gonzales and Baby Elizabeth Gonzales.
He is survived by: his significant other Elizabeth Gonzales; his children, Steven Rendon (Marisol), Roxanne Gonzales, Richard Duane Gonzales, Jr. and Connie Gonzales (Edward); his siblings, Mary Ann Rangel (Juan), Gloria Gonzales, Elsa Gonzales (Victor Gomez), Linda Perez (Albert), Lori Gonzales, Cordelia Gonzales, Herman Gonzales, Mario Gonzales (Rosita) and Ruben Gonzales (Gina); and his sisters-in-law, Irene Gonzales (Johnny), Olga Gonzales (Willie Joe) and Mary Esther Gonzales (Manuel). He is also survived by Great-Grandchildren.
