He was predeceased by: his parents, Silvanio Rico (Cecil) and Pauline Rico (Concha) of Bartlett; and his brother Pete Rico. He is survived by: his siblings, Epi Rico (Lupe) of Round Rock, Cecil Rico (Mary) of Elgin, Janie Lopez of Thrall, Flora Lopez of Taylor, Teresa Canava (Steve) of Waco and Rose Ann Rico of Taylor; his stepchildren, Renee Leal of Austin and Eric Leal (Amy) of Galveston; his granddaughters, Anysa Leal of Austin and Shelbi Perez (Nick) of Austin; and his close friend Cynthia Barns of Austin. He is also survived by 14 nephews and nieces, 11 great nephews and nieces.
