He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Kauitzsch and Lillie Moeller Kauitzsch; his children, David Kauitzsch and Lisa Kauitzsch; and his brother Carroll Wayne Kauitzsch.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Kauitzsch; his son Andrew Kauitzsch; and his daughter-in-law Kimberly Kauitzsch. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, sister-in-laws; nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church, or Bartlett Volunteer Fire Department.
