She was predeceased by: her parents, Melchor Mesa and Luisa Mesa; her husband Cirilo Rodriguez; her siblings, Manuela Casas, Aurora Casas, Margarita Mesa, Maria Mesa, Raul Meza and Gilbert Mesa; and her granddaughter Cristina Sotelo Reyna.

She is survived by: her children, Louis Guerra (Elizabeth), Gloria Sotelo (late Arturo) and Delia Castillo (Willie); and her grandchildren, Donna-Marie Ortiz (Lee), Samantha Guerra (Ann) of Bartlett, Alex Rivera, Alfie Rivera, Valerie Hall of Austin and Arturo Sotelo of Dallas. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
