He was predeceased by: his wife Guadalupe Lopez; his daughter Beatrice Lopez; and his siblings, Cresencio, Santiago, Guadalupe, Guillermo, Maria, Ernestina and Asencion.
He is survived by: his children, Juan, Dora Lopez of Topeka, Hope Lopez, Leo Delcid of Kyle, Ricardo and Angela Lopez of San Antonio, Texas; his siblings, Eualia of Mexico, Lorenzo of Andrews, Fortunato of Mexico and Jose of Dimmitt, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Shonna, Keaton Heather of Topeka, Brandon Alfred of Topeka, Alicia Lopez of Topeka, Brittany Lopez of Topeka, Irma, Luis of Kyle, John White, Edward Rios of Kyle, Jasmine Mendoza of Kyle, Jeremiah Siller of San Antonio, Nathan Siller of San Antonio, Maranda Martinez of San Antonio, Julie Lopez of San Antonio and Kristina Lopez of San Antonio. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
