He was predeceased by: his parents, Vane Wesley Stevens and Vida May Rodgers; his son Michael Donovane; his siblings, Ray Stevens and Wanda Fiztpatrick; his nephew Ray Stevens, Jr.; and his former wife Barbara Rees.
He is survived by: his stepson David Heep; his sister Wilma Black; his sister-in-law Lola Post; his nieces and nephews, Sandy Watkins, Lynn Hicks, Jackie Armstrong, Jan Stearns, Tim Custer, Scott Post, Jamie Hansen and Dustin Fitzpatrick; and also Jean Heep. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren.
