He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Clem Gillespie and Alma Jean Pratt; his grandparents, Gene and Beatrice Pratt; his daughter Billie Jo Rainey; and his sister Jackie Stanley.
He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Jo Julian; his wife Sandy of Crossroads, TX; his children, Randal DeVault of Dallas, TX, Margaret Corn (Dustin Scoggins) of Caddo Mills, TX and Kathy Hamilton (Derek Mayfield) of Little Elm, TX; and his siblings, Buster Gillespie (Bam) of Ponder, TX, Sherry Adams (Paul) of Aubrey, TX and Shelly Green of Forney, TX. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
