He was predeceased by: his parents, Gorham Eldridge Coker and Callie Paulene Coker (Smith); his wife Dana Ruth Coker (Turner); and his siblings, Willow Dean Jette, Arbon Eugene Coker and Joseph "Buster" Gorham Coker.

He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Morrow (Glen) of Abilene, Jimmy Smith Coker, Jr. (Teresia) of Elkhart, Reggie Smith Coker, Sr. (Heidi) of Athens and Camille Starr of Athens; and his brother Billy Edward Coker (Martha) of Walton Community. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Country Place Senior Living or Hospice Plus.
