He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvis Hugh Armstrong and Eula Belle Armstrong (Atwood); and his brothers, Donald and Kenneth Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Carol Armstrong of Athens; his children, Angela Johnson (Chris) of Rockwall and Blake Armstrong (Kelli) of Tyler; his grandchildren, Avery, Alec and Pierce Armstrong; his siblings, Louise Loggins of Sulphur Springs, Betty Toland of Paris and Jackie Armstrong (Sherrye) of Forney; and also Genice Armstrong of Norman, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers the family would like for donations to be made in Hugh's memory to the East Texas Arboretum or the local charity of your choice.
