He was predeceased by: his wife Lorene Sloan; and his daughter Donna Jeanette Sloan. He is survived by: his spouse Maggie Lorene Golden; his daughter Karen Evans of Arp; his son-in-law Billy Paul Evans of Arp; his son James Sloan of Tyler; his daughter-in-law Janice Sloan of Tyler; and his great grandchildren, Carly Furqueron, Sheldon Furqueron, Brian Nichols, Brandon Nichols, Jerri Lynn and Matthew Labeff, Jr..
