She was predeceased by: her father Jim Sluder; her siblings, Thelma Hagains, Wayne Sluder, Evelyn Burns, Wilbur Sluder, Margaret Spencer, Lilburn Sluder, Wendell Sluder, Wilma Walker and Dale Pryor; and her grandson Justin Gyllenband.

She is survived by: her mother Bonnie Sluder; her children, Johann Gyllenband (Judy) of Amarillo, Darrell Gyllenband (Cheryl) of Borger, Michele Bates (Travis) of Amarillo and Morton Mathis (Kim) of Cypress, Texas.; and her grandchildren, Von, Alysa Gyllenband, Shanda Gill, Brandon Gyllenband and Taylor Matthews. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
