He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Lee (Murphey) and Charles Edward Briggs; and his brother Richard Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Mindy Briggs of Amarillo, Texas; his children, Judy Lynch (Barry) of Amarillo and Jon (Stephani Zegarra) of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Thomas Lynch and Tayron Izquierdo; and his sisters, Cathy Ashford (Dan) of Amarillo and Kelly Bankston (Warren) of Kenner. He is also survived by in-laws, out-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
