He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Blount; and his siblings, Odis Blount, Charlie Blount, Eula Blount and Joyce Blount.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Blount and Shelley Blount; his grandsons, Riley and Reese Blount; his daughter Kimberly Graham; his siblings, Alford Blount (Nan), Bobby Blount (Laura), Robert Blount (Luann), Geneva Wheeler (Jim), Fransis Houghton (Scott) and Cora Metcalf (John); and his sister-in-law Tammy Blount. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews, As well as new and longtime friends of his children and grandchildren.
