It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Lynn Griggs of Amarillo, Texas, born in Quanah, Texas, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Griggs (Jake) and Nola Newman Griggs; his brother Arlen Griggs; and his wife Diana Griggs. He is survived by: his daughter Summer Hamilton (Micah) of Amarillo; his sisters, Wanda Shepard (Glenn) of Amarillo and Terry Huckabay (Wade) of Montgomery, Texas; and his grandsons, Christopher of Amarillo, Texas. and Lucas of Amarillo, Texas.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
