James Leroy Jester Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Leroy Jester of Amarillo, Texas, born in Clovis, New Mexico, who passed away on January 12, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jester (Buck) and Viola Jester (Polly). He is survived by: his wife Linda Palmateer of Amarillo; his children, Tonya Cordell (Cole) of Choctaw, OK and Dr. Shaun Jester (Lara) of Dumas, TX; and his siblings, Melvin Jester (Virginia) of Cuero, TX, Janice Gossett (Leroy) of Ft Worth, TX and Sharon Cole (Ron) of Newnan, GA.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
