He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Cornelius and Betty Cornelius (Singley); and his brothers, William "Terry" Cornelius and Ralph "Skip" Cornelius. He is survived by: his wife Julie O'Brien of Amarillo, Texas; his stepson Carlo O'Brien; his sister Shirley Hipp (Richard) of Houston, Texas; his mother-in-law Sandy Swopes of Hereford, Texas; and his sister-in-law Laura Cornelius of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
He was civic minded, supporting his community and donating to Snack-Pak for kids.
