It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elder Elvin J. Tatum of Amarillo, Texas, born in Center, Texas, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomey Williams and Cora Lathan Williams; and his siblings, Teresa Goodwin, Bobbie Williams (Lynette), Billy Williams and Junior Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Vickie Renia; his children, Talisha Scott (Haston) of Arlington, TX, LaTasha Wright (Rome), Shameka Vinson of Amarillo, TX, Christa Tatum of Dallas, TX and Tasso Cofer of Fort Worth, TX; and his siblings, Hattie Belmares (Israel) of Turkey, TX, Robin Savage (Allen) of Amarillo, TX, Verna "Lil Sis" Johnson, Kathy (Landy), Ray Williams of Houston, TX, Tommy Ronnie Williams (Crystal), Johnny Williams (Chele) of Amarillo, TX and T. W. Williams. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren as well as beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
