He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrietta "Kay" McWhorter and D. C. McWhorter. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his friend Gayland Ward; his brothers, Steve McWhorter (Jenny) of Amarillo, TX and Ted McWhorter (Cherry) of Hereford, TX; his children, Katie Thomas (Doug) of Austin, TX, Emily Wood (Casey) of Amarillo, Hannah Olszewski (Dave) of Breckenridge, CO and Hank McWhorter (Bekah) of Amarillo; and his grandchildren, Annie, Mac Thomas, Marienne, Noelle Wood, Owen, Calvin Olszewski, Hays and Townes McWhorter. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
