He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eli and Fanny Pruitt (Elliot); and his wife Sandra Pruitt. He is survived by: his sons, David Pruitt of Amarillo and James Pruitt of Taylorville; and his stepchildren, Clyde Westbrook, Dee Hamilton and Vickie Shumate. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
