It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Harley Ellis (Alvin, Texas), born in Comanche, Texas, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Azalea Gunter Ellis and Clois Lee Ellis; his sisters, Lee Ruth Cwiakala, Norma Jean (Wayne Adams) and Johnnie Estelle (Joe Walker); and his children, Lynn Ann and Landa Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann; his son-in-law James L. Cook III; his grandchildren, James L. Cook IV and Ellis Ann; and his siblings-in-law, Tommy Willis (Vicky), Randi Gill and Mickey Holley (Arnold).
