He was predeceased by: his fathers, Edwin Adams and Bill Adams (Marr); his wife Brenda Adams; and his siblings, Cathlene, George, James, Roy J. and Donald Gene.

He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Gann, Mario Adams, Tony Adams (Tanisha) and Chad Adams (Amy). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
