He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry and Lela Arlena Attaway Hass; and his grandson Mike Poston. He is survived by: his former wife Margie Helen Deas; his wife Helen Hass of Alba; his children, Asa Staley of Alba, John Staley (Kim) of Rockwall, Jackie Staley of Alba, Gloria Ragsdale (Mike) of Alba, Marie Ingram (Don) of Quitman, Gay Poston (Gilley) of Alba, Libby Hass of Alba and Chastity Hass of Alba; his siblings, Waymon Hass (Frances) of Prosper, Gail Nichols (Steve) of Tyler, Verdie Henson (Perry) of Whitehouse and Kay Blackford (Randy) of Alba; and his grandsons, Jeremy Ragsdale, Mason Ragsdale, Matt Ingram, Matt Haisten, Dakota Poston and Jake Hass. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
