She was predeceased by: her daughter Lori Lea Sanchez; the parents of child, Juan and Dora; and her brothers, Bruno, Jesus, Gilbert and Martin.
She is survived by: her husband Reyes B. Sanchez, Sr.; her children, Toni Brawley (Wesley), Robert Sanchez (Tina), Betty Zamora (Delbert), Reyes Sanchez, Jr. (Maribel) and David Sanchez (Jocelynn); and her siblings, Juana, Lupe, Ruben, Marshall, Eloy and Rene. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces.
The family asks that any donations to be made in Maria's name to Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, an organization that was close to Maria's heart.
