He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lynn; his parents, Herbert Cantrell and Mamie Cantrell; his siblings, Charles James "Jack" Cantrell, Irene Barrett (O. B.), Eva Mae Tankersley (Claude) and Geneva Chandler (Aubrey); and his daughter Diana Cantrell Connor.
He is survived by: his son Gregg (Stephanie); his son-in-law Mike Connor; his grandsons, Calvin (Emma-Rae) and Nolan Cantrell; his niece Doris Sneed; and his nephew Charles Cox. He is also survived by many other cousins, nephews, and nieces.
