With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerrold Coleman in Abilene, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Coleman and Imogene Coleman; his sister Carol Jennean Fry; his niece Diane "Dink" Taylor; and his nephews, Donnie Coleman and Tyler Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia Coleman; his children, Jesus Noel Santos (Barbara), Loida Talamantez (Rudy) and Romeo Santos; his grandchildren, LJ Santos Jr., Alex Nguyen, Adrian Mercado, Anastasia Mercado, Faith Talamantez, Hope Talamantez, Alicia McDowell, Melanie McDowell and RJ Santos; his great grandchildren, Madison, Bryson, Kaden, Aliyah, Raina, Liam, David Jr. and Kanoa; his brother Joe Coleman (Patsy); and his close friends, Gerry Ferguson, Jim Gideon, Jed Rodriguez, Mark Brown and Richard Gaines. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jerrold's memory to Hospice of the Big Country, DAV (disabled veterans), and the American Cancer Society.
