She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Conner and Mamie Conner (Oates); her brothers, H. L. Conner and Rev. Jack Slater (Nellwyn Graham); her son-in-law Tucker Hargis; her grandson Tanner Hargis; and her great grandchild Harper Thames.
She is survived by: her former husband Grady Ray Cozby, Jr.; her husband Charles Riggs; her children, Grady Ray Cozby III and Gladys Kathleen Hargis; her siblings, David Conner and Janet Stephens; her grandchildren, Tory Hargis (Maria), Heather Thames (David), Taryn Wilson (Brain) and Hannah Freeman; her great grandchildren, Eli Hargis, Emma Freeman, Lillyauna Hargis, Abigayle Hargis, Daisy Wilson, Tahlind Thames, Jasper Wilson, Carsen Wilson, Bentley Freeman, Kastle Thames, Sadie Freeman, Haven Thames and Robert Dale Altman; her great great grandchild Gianna Lynn Hargis; and her daughters, Melinda Neves and Terri Hargis.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery (7457 W Lake Rd, Abilene, TX 79601).
