Though George may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, David Lee and Philip Charles Nichols; and his brother-in-law Judge Robert Watson. He is survived by: his sister Carol Nichols Watson; his sons, William David Nichols (Susan) and Patrick Hart Nichols (Angela); his grandchildren, Ellison Hart Elledge (Hunter), Garrison Hart Nichols and Jackson Nichols; and his daughter-in-law Tanja Hall Nichols (David Kynard). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and his rescue bichonpoo companion.
