She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Peters and Fayrene Peters; her sisters, Donna, Sibyl and Katherine; and her husband Bob Connel.

She is survived by: her son John Connel (Suzanne) of Grayson, GA; her grandsons, Matthew (Meredith), David, Joseph and Adam; her son Robert Connel (Becki) of Hawley, TX; her grandchildren, Lane (Lacey) and Hannah; her daughter Marian Connel (Kelly) of Abilene, TX; her grandchildren, Camri, Kylee and Jayden Wood; her son Don Connel (Melissa) of Abilene, TX; her grandchildren, Kenna and Carleigh Schuepbach; her family Spreading; and her aunts, Edie, GramEdie, GramE and MomE (Madre). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
