It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores L. Rodriguez of Abilene, Texas, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Lozano and Irene Lozano (Galvan); her husband Frank C. Rodriguez; her children, Peggy Martinez and Stephen Rodriguez; her great grandchildren, Alexander, Bryson Connor and Janiya Martinez; and her siblings, Alex Lozano, Armando Lozano, Roy Lozano, Manuel Lozano, Luis Lozano, Daniel Lozano Jr., Olivia Lugo and Arminia Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Rodriguez (Margarita), Lisa Alardin (Chito), Ricky Rodriguez (Eneida), Laura Gonzales (Jay) and Michael Rodriguez (Amanda); her brothers, Carlos Lozano of Anson, TX, Gabriel Lozano of Anson, TX, Reginaldo Lozano of Anson, TX and Samuel Lozano of Anson, TX; her grandchildren, Krystal Chesser, Kayla Torres, Hope Alardin, Chris Martinez, Ricky Rodriguez Jr., Jeremy Rodriguez, Adam Rodriguez, Jesse Gonzales, Trisstain Gonzales, Tabitha Gonzales, Phillip Gonzales, Sarah Gonzales, Jesse Rodriguez, Tiffany Rodriguez, Stephanie Rodriguez, Dolores Rodriguez, Frank Rodriguez, Stephen Martinez, Richard Martinez Jr., Mariah Rodriguez, Malachi Rodriguez and Majesty Rodriguez; her great grandchildren, Rylan, Gabby, Adalynn, Easton, Annaleah, Brielle, Kamila of Raelyn, RJ, Jude, Aliana, Miana, Aviana, Grayson, Jeremiah, Adalina, Jaciann, Tayvian, Paris, Noel, Niyelli, Cameron, Anbriel, Andrew, Myrakle, Mykael, Richard III, Lorenzo, Mariah, Stephen and Zaine; and her pet Penny. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Piersall Funeral Directors (733 Butternut St, Abilene, TX 79602). A rosary was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (2010 Co Rd 477, Anson, TX 79501). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetary.
