He was predeceased by: his father Tomasita Garza; his former wife Sheryl Garza; his sister Dee; and his grandson Hayden Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Haydee Garza; his children, Robert Garza (Kimberly), Christina Tucker (Kirk), Raquel Garza and Manuel Garza; and his grandchildren, Ashton Garza, Kairi Garza, Dilyne Overton, Logan Overton, Leo Tucker, Jasper Tucker, Pequeños, Ivan Tucker and Lilith Tucker.
On Oct 14, 2024, Art finally escaped what he called "his little insane asylum" to be reunited with anticipated loved ones who RSVP'D prior to his earthly departure.
